Refunds & cancellations
This policy applies to professional services offered by Data Service Portal—assessments, metric reviews, clinics, and monthly briefings.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Data Service Portal for scoped professional services. This site does not sell physical goods or software licences.
Timeframe
Refund requests should be emailed to [email protected] within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation confirmation or missed kickoff).
Full refunds
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and no replacement date is mutually agreed, or if you cancel in writing more than 10 business days before the agreed kickoff and no substantive work has started.
Partial refunds
If you cancel between 5 and 10 business days before kickoff, we may retain up to 30% of the project fee to cover preparation already performed. After kickoff, fees for completed phases (for example, completed observation week) are non-refundable; unused later phases may be refunded proportionally at our discretion.
Non-refundable items
Completed deliverables (final reports, briefing notes, clinic summaries), third-party venue costs when on-site sessions were requested, and the first month of a commenced monthly briefing retainer are non-refundable.
Deposits
Project engagements typically require a 50% kickoff invoice. That deposit is applied to the total fee. It is refundable under the full-refund rules above and otherwise credited only toward the same engagement.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least 5 business days’ notice. Later reschedules may incur a ₩150,000 administrative fee. Monthly briefing call times can be moved within the same calendar month by mutual agreement.
No-shows
If your stakeholders miss a scheduled kickoff, clinic, or debrief without 24 hours’ notice, that session is treated as delivered for scheduling purposes. A replacement session may be booked at an additional fee.
Work already started
Once access reviews, extract analysis, or agent sessions have begun, fees covering those activities are earned. We will document completed work if an engagement ends early.
Purchased materials
We do not sell pre-packaged materials. Any printed handouts prepared for an on-site clinic are included in the clinic fee and are not separately refundable.
Refund process & method
Email [email protected] with your invoice number and reason. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfer refunds in KRW may require confirmation of account details.
